Educated in the regional language (Tamil) as there were very few English Medium schools in the city; in addition they were quite expensive. Retired from government service in the year 1994 after serving for 30 years in Kolkata(formerly called Calcutta) and Lucknow. Married, a grandfather of four children, now settled in Bangalore, Karnataka State. |
