I am a twenty-three year old Master of Physics graduate with a passion for writing science fiction. Inspired by my studies, I want to share the majesty and awe that science offers, but with the ease-of-access of fiction and prose. Having spent years writing stuffy and constraining lab reports, I am now trying to get my first novel published, while seeking representation from an agent. |
Science fiction and fantasy predominantly |
I try to fuse various styles together. Most influential are Isaac Asivmov, Phillip K. Dick, Ayn Rand and Iain M. Banks. |
Outside of writing, I am an avid musician with my favourite genre being classical - Beethoven being my favourite composer. I love playing video games, though find myself with less and less time. I also play Magic: The Gathering as a hobby. |
Sci-fi, fantasy, thriller, historical non-fiction and scientific non-fiction. |
The Foundation series, The Fountains of Paradise, The Player of Games, Mostly Harmless, A Scanner Darkly, Ubik, Atlas Shrugged, A Clockwork Orange,Battle Royale, Frankenstein, The Princess Bride, Magic, The Time Machine and many more! |

Thomas Hardy, John Betjeman, Jackie Kay and William Shakespeare |
A wonderful quote that can't fit in 250 characters, but, from H.G. Wells, ends with this chilling line: "...in place of all that human comfort and beauty he anticipated - darkness still." |
Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms, Hadyn, Gershwin, Elgar, John Adams and The Beatles |
Anything by Quentin Tarantino! |
