| I have been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. I am thankful my parents gifted me with many very interesting and classic books that encouraged me to read other books, even though many were way above age, and education. But I read them, and I grew up to eventually understand them. Many I have re-read as an adult, and have taken new meaning from them. When I first read Watership Down it was just a story about bunnies, as an adult I understood the metaphors for life in the human world. |
