Dreams are definitely fascinating! I don't remember my dreams nearly as much as I used to, even though I know my dreams are still vivid. I know during the height of Covid and for the couple of years after (stresses dealing with work and being short staffed following the stresses of working during Covid) just kind of blocked my ability to (and if I did dream I had no memories) dream. The last year and a half, two years, my dreams have been coming back, I just wish I remembered them as vividly as I did when I was younger.
I know some of my dreams had meaning, but not many, at least any that seemed obvious to me. One of the most blatant was when I was a kid and my mom and sister drove off without me. I'm pretty sure my little sister had just recently been born and it was my fear of being left behind. Some of the others, I wish I had thought to write down and date, because I know at the time they didn't make much sense, but I wonder if some other stresser might've caused them to happen that I could look back now and realize.
Simply Me Thanks for the input. Yes, I do remember that egg-shaped container and that goo. I didn't like it all that much, though, at the time. It felt weird in my hands, but I did love the comics. I couldn't have enough of them.
Who knows, maybe newspapers may come back. Na probably not.
I sold newspaper advertising for a few years. Out of the blue the paper used for print became gross. The owner had no choice in the quality of it because that new product was the only product available due to the fact that previous paper producer went bankrupt.
I don't miss the ink getting on my hands. I miss the comics in the Sunday editions though.
Off topic: Do you have memories of "flubber" (the stretching goo that came in an egg) and comics? You flattened the flubber on a comic and it would transfer the picture to the goo and you could make it funnier.
"Too many candles on my cake" My daughter put 70 candles on mine that year. lol NO more just use the thick single numbers. haha I like your new blog picture.
