Bewitched! For awhile, mostly in the mornings before I'd get ready for school, I'd watch TVLand? That had a lot of shows my mom and dad had watched when they had been younger, including Bewitched. Loved I Love Lucy, Happy Days, All in the Family, The Addams Family, Rocky and Bullwinkle (I loved that cartoon and all the sub cartoons too), and I think Scooby Doo was on there too? Also loved that cartoon.
I am the same as you. I watched TV, but I was also bad at watching TV. There were a small selection of shows that I'd remember what time they were on, but other than that if I wanted to watch TV, it was just whatever was on while flipping through the channels. I mostly played outside a lot and read a lot more. haha I am STILL terrible at remembering when specific things on TV are. I'm so thankful for the way streaming works and YouTube. I can just watch things whenever I want to. Which is great especially if I'm crocheting and need something to watch while I crochet away!
It's slippery around pools! I've heard about nimble teenagers falling around them. You're smart to be careful.
Actually, I think there are old-people-don't fall classes... I think Dr. Joel Fuhrman has some in his member section. Maybe he has some on YouTube too? And surely some charities that help the elderly have some. Fall prevention is important.
🌸 pwheeler love, joy, peace Not really! Although I did take quick action at the time, the baby, not quite two yrs old then, would have been safe, at least for some time.
I later found out that she had been enrolled in a baby-swim-safe class and would have stayed alive until the mother could act.
Now in my old age, I'm afraid to walk around the pool if I'm by myself. Unfortunately, there are no old-people-don't-fall classes.
I am also flustered when I have to make a quick decision! Especially if I'm not quite sure what the outcome will be or the affect it will have. And yes, I can't even go to a restaurant without researching the menu!
