| Okay so here's my blog ig let's see what I have to ramble about this time eh? |
| Iām really excited to be using Writing.com to expand upon my worlds and ideas, and I plan on doing so much more over time. I do take breaks when thereās not a whole lot going on and sometimes it feels overwhelming, but I do try to do what I can to make sure it works out. I really enjoy how the community is so active and something is happening every day and itās always fun to see what new topic has popped up. Iām pretty quiet for the most part when taking breaks but I still like to hop on and see whatās up. With the World Weaver prep starting, Iāve begun to get things started with what Iāll be doing in November. Iām excited to do this in this month and then onto October as itāll help me build a better idea of what Iām actually doing. Seeing as it starts today I'm already working on putting my story into more sense, as Iāve gotten an idea but want to continue developing it. In other news, Iāve been quite occupied with doing things in my life, but every day Iāve thought about the site eager to begin the exercises for the contests and other such things. Iām hoping Iāll be able to complete each as they come along, as Iām quite anxious to start. I assure you right after I finish this I plan on getting straight into developing my story mode. A lot happened in August but it wasnāt terrible, but it also wasnāt great. Prolly the best part of the whole month of August was finding the site. So Iām really looking forward to seeing what is going to happen. So I hope everyone will enjoy what I post as things come along, and my story be just as entertaining! -- Word count: 302 |
| Finally back from the Zoo! I was really far away. Like an hour away! So a total of three hours round trip. And it was not too bad, got to see all kinds of critters. I also took a bunch of pictures. It was pretty chill otherwise and then me and my roommates stopped by a gas station. I had a pretty decent lunch and just sitting down to start my writing stuff. I also updated this
So now I have a basis to start with when I get to the start of it. -- So in other news, anyone got some possible prompt ideas? I'm a little at a loss, but I'll prolly finish my short story tonight that's for sure. |

Oh and I'm going to the reptile zoo today. >:3c I love lizards, snakes etc. Can't wait to see my roommates shiver at the giant Anaconda! Hahah xD I'll see about posting my adventure yet tonight. (thankies to wiesblaize for that suggestion!) |
Alright, added one more 1k or so to my romance contest entry short story today!
I've got just a little more to go. It's resting at word count of the following All Words: 3916 2+ Letters: 3765 3+ Letters: 3146 4+ Letters: 2211 5+ Letters: 1489 6+ Letters: 1014 -- Got around a little more than 1.3 k-ish left or so? It's got to stay under 5k so I may have to cut it short, prepare for a cliff hanger my fellow readers! >:3c After being fully written I plan on doing the draft revisions. So if anyone would kindly give it a through-reading it'd be greatly appreciated. For those I still owe reviews, I'll be starting shortly with this contest entry now that it's (mostly) out of the way :D After that, well, I guess I'll have to find something else to do?? | Hey there folks! I went up to the cities today and did some shopping at a little hole in the wall place. There was all kinds of interesting products there. It's not a franchise from what I can tell as it is in a run down part of the city, but the people were friendly and welcoming. It was calm atmosphere and everything you can think of for serving seafood, chicken, meat, and, more you can think of, it was there. I've been anywhere like it but it really showed the soil of the small urban town. It took about a hour driving up, buying the goods, and then driving back. I also stopped by a Chinese place that has been in a town over longer than a decade far as I know. I had been wanting to try it for years! The first time around I ordered they got what I wanted wrong! But that happens, so I wasn't upset. They did the order right after I told them and it came out several minutes later. So when I got home I shared a bit with my roommates (they drive me bonks ong) but I mainly ate the white rice and sweet sauce, as I love white rice when it's cooked right. It was beef and broccoli and tbh it was one little box of food. But it was good! So now I'm sitting here after nibbling on some leftover fried rice (didn't taste all that good but I was still hungry @_@) I'm just getting t writing up this blog. Much to my great surprise the first thing I opened my email to was a lovely merit badge of Special Appreciation by wiesblaize!!! I'm so happy, not sure how I earned such recognition but I'll take it! I also just yesterday night got featured in the News Letter for Newbies!?? I'm so thrilled and confused it's great, I have no idea why I'm being given such awesome praise and love But I appreciate the words and friendly people here and I can't begin to explain my shock! :D Let's see how the rest of the day goes!!?? |

| I'm pretty understanding and use both logical and emotional values to decide anything. I've held myself at my own standards that tend to be a bit odd to some, but I'd think that goes for everyone, no? So why do I bring this up, you're prolly wondering. We'll, this weekend was anything but a decent use of my time. First thing I wake up, I hear an unfamiliar voice knocking at my door. My bedroom door is fairly hollow so anything more than a gentle tap sounds like a bomb went off! I'm typically a very heavy sleeper and I was so groggy. I put on my flesh prison cloth, and opened it. Now don't get me wrong here. I'm a very nice, decent person. But who I faced instantly set all my triggers buzzing. Of the 4 roommates I tolerate, this woman is one special kind of words. I stared at her for a moment with my eyes still caked with crust and felt a dull pressure in my forehead. Then I said as mentally withholding of irritation, "What are you doing with my meds?" There's a rule at my house in regarding medication. Other roommates are NOT allowed to administer them to each other. So that was my first thing of the day. "Well she's busy," the roommate said in a rather gentle tone, "I was told to give them to you." I grew a immediate cross brow at the statement. "I have to take it in front of her." I took the small white medicine cup and glass of water from her. I then proceeded to walk downstairs. I walk into the office and repeat myself. The person doesn't even give me a glance. I don't recall any words were spoken but I proceeded to take them anyways. That happened at 9am, Saturday. But it wouldn't end there. Oh no, it only got worse as 6pm rolled around. I was contently scrolling through Writing.com and my arms began to burn and itch. It was rather distracting, so I figured due to the heat my skin was dried out. Now naturally I figure, let's take a nice shower. Wash that grime off and lather my arms back to normal. About 30 minutes later, refreshed and in good mood, I come back to an empty table. All my things are gone, packed up, and put away. Now understand, here at this house we do have a rule of picking things up before heading to our rooms. That would've been an acceptable reason to up and take my stuff and put it in a secure location. But no, this wasn't bedtime, far from it. I was mildly baffled and felt a small sense of annoyance stir in my mind. Come to find out, the person, not my roommate, took everything without reason others than it was sitting out. I'm fairly reasonable so I was simply going to brush it off. However, when I asked why they took it, they said in a low voice "There's a new rule, don't you remember? Anything left out in the common areas are now to be locked up for 24 hours inside the office." My eye twitched as I bared a smile, eyes locking on her temple. She was doing something and yet again, did not acknowledge me. "Oh? I don't recall that one." I was genuinely intrigued at that moment. "Yeah you were told about it. Everyone already knows about it". My temper was calm and yet I felt the chill of the behind my eyes as she spoke. My look became a glare. "That's odd, I don't recall. Usually something like that we'd all be told." The lady insisted, without a single glance at me. I wasn't about to fight over such a pathetic lie, so I held my tongue, took my stuff and existed. About two hours later my roommate from earlier suddenly has the brilliant thought to screech and yammer about me. From the other room, within ear shot. I'm not sure why exactly, but my head soon began to thrum as she rampage for about an hour about me. No shame, no tact, no kind of regret at all. It wasn't anything new to me that I already hadn't heard her say in her passive aggressive mood swings. What really irked me...she literally spoke to my other roommate as if I wasn't just a few feet behind her. Again, I had been quietly minding my own business and didn't say a peep. Again, and again, and AGAIN for an hour she repeated her displeasure of me. It was quite spiteful and made me seem like some kind of spawn of evil. Yet I remained silent, in the dark, on my computer. Purple static blurred my vision as I felt my insides squirm. After her joyous rant, she walked past me without a single look my way. Took a soda from the fridge and went back to her room. I was less stunned and more baffled if anything. I had no words and was feeling literally nothing. I wasn't even mad funny enough, I was numb to such insulting childlike behavior. My roommate that had to endure the whole hour face to face with the rattler, came over to me wide eyed and a sour expression lingered upon her face. For about the next half hour we whispered our frustration. It was if we couldn't express our anger due to the others thumb on our lips. I stayed up much later than I had planned, but after venting and my disbelief exhausted, I shrugged it off. And so my weekend was nothing but more drama and continued to repeat itself into Monday as well. Hopefully everything will be sorted out soon, as I really wanted to throw hands. That's all I really have to say about my weekend, somehow I was the target and I still in the end will won. I can't wait to see the ending, as I knew she was in the wrong... |
| Alright, so here I go. - So let's see, I'm new to the site (joined like, the 15th of August?) and I've been having a wonderful time. I've been able to meet lots of new people and getting to see all kinds of unique, curious, as well as sad/venting, and all sorts of wonderful writing! I've been trying to dole out what reviews I can, but as to not burn myself out I'll prolly slow down a bit so I don't burn out. My hobbies I get into are pretty intensive, so I have to pace myself. Hmm what else. I guess I can talk about some random stuff? I'm mainly not a big talker IRL but I do enjoy chatting online with my friends on discord (if you wanna chat with me there lmk and I can add you!) but I don't really have much of a scene anywhere else than that. I do occasionally post on Instagram, Facebook, and a here and there places. I've not really focused on writing for a hot minute so it's been about 3 years since I really put any effort into the whole gig. I originally just wanted to write a silly chapter or so when I got here, but turns out it's pretty fun other than just waiting to get responses. So that's pretty cool. Even though I'm not per say the most 'social' of persons, I do enjoy getting to hang out with others online as I mentioned. So I'm literally a 'open book' if you will in terms of what to talk about. I've got a tough skin but also kind heart. I love all kinds of hobbies (check out my Bio sometime for the jist of it) and always eager to discover more things to obsess over. So let's have a chat sometime, I'm always down for small talk and I'm generally a good natured fella. Hope to talk to you soon! :3 |
