I don't have as many dog stories but I do tons of cat stories. I've been blessed with some interesting cats who do make sure I know when they need or want something. Yeats was notorious for when I was on the computer, and he wanted attention he would lay right across the keyboard. I could move him but he would come right back. Once I snuggled with him then he would lie down beside me. Macavity when he wants to eat, taps your leg repeatedly. And when I ask what do you want he goes to his food dish. If I don't get up immediately, he will come back and tap my leg repeatedly.

I agree animals are far more intelligent than we realize.

I tend to overthink and second-guess. I try to let go. Moving on from past mistakes (whether or not they were truly mistakes) is key for me to meet new challenges and make new mistakes. *sigh*

I've lived with people who had needs. Sometimes it worked out; sometimes life intervened.

My favorite OT book is Ruth. I truly believe that kindness matters.

I've been in the process of taking back my house for awhile. Actually made some major progress in January. It is always a work in progress with an older house. I'll cheer for you as we both clean.

I just finished an embroidery project, it was so relaxing.

I would be devastated without my sight, I craft a lot and that loss would end all the things I enjoy.

Thinking about the saying, - Don't know what you've got til it's gone
- what did you lose? How long did it take you to realize that you still wanted it?

I have lost many things in life. In terms of the quote above, I would say the COVID Pandemic brought this to light in many ways, toilet paper for example. Another thing I missed was just simply being able to enjoy a meal away from home in the restaurant dining area.

Prompt: What is a significant life change you've recently experienced and how has it impacted your daily life? Write about this in your Blog entry today.

My most significant loss lately was losing the apartment and having to move into my roommate's brother's house. It's a topic I really don't desire to discuss. However, cleanliness and personal hygiene are more challenging than before. Life was just better at the apartment we will just say and leave it at that.

Blog Prompt: What do you think about witchcraft being practiced in some modern Christian churches today?
I realize some people think its ok to mix the two. However, I find that to be foolish. The Bible specifically speaks against practicing witchcraft. Besides, if you lack something or need or want something, why not ask God, your Heavenly Father for it and accept his yes, no, or wait for it answer? Why go try to manipulate him or other Spirits to get what you want. If you want a loving/respectful relationship with someone, you don't go behind their back to get your way. That's just rude.

Prayer prompt: Pray for those who are being affected by the winter weather this week.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for allowing us another day upon this Earth. May your will be done and may you be glorified. Help those who don't have shelter to stay warm during this extreme cold spell. Provide all needs. Keep people safe on the roads and bring swift healing to those who are injured.

Deleting all the cookies does not mean to eat all the cookies in the jar. Peanut Butter cookies are my favorite. Cookies are fun to bake, especially when they are shared with family and friends.

Prompt:
Whether you are acquainted with them or not, who is the one person (in your opinion) who has recently done or is doing great things for you, for anyone else, or for the public? Would you want to thank them in some way?

For me, this person is Jesus Christ. I can never thank him enough for paying my debt of sin on the cross. He loves me so much, he thinks I am to die for in spite of all of my faults. He deserves all glory, praise, and honor with all of my being. He rose again from the grave and lives. I spend time with him through the power of the Holy Spirit and enjoy fellowship with the Father through Jesus too. I know that when my physical body dies, I will continue to live with him in Heaven.
