Welcome to my blog: I intend to share heartfelt writing about anything that comes to mind. |
I will be glad when the Dr figures out what is causing my health issues. It is not fun to feel exhausteded all the time. I went from always being active to hardly feeling like doing anything on a daily basis. I get up and try to make myself do stuff some days, and my body literally trembles from exhaustion. It is really quite frustrating. You see the dishes and laundry piling up but literally don't have the energy or strength to do them. I am also a caregiver to my best friend/roommate. Some days it is all I can do to take care of both of our basic needs right now. I want to be active. This is so not like me. The person I normally am has to be told to sit down and be still. Stop working so hard, etc... Please pray for me for answers and healing. Today is kind of a frustrating day. I keep getting headaches too. I have a Dr appointment Friday. I have got my fingers crossed. 🤞 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Take UP Your Cross Prompt: Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. What does it mean for a nation to have God as their Lord? Does America or the nation you live in have God as the Lord? Why or why not? What can you do to promote or encourage God to be the Lord of your nation? Answer: When I go back and look at American history, I think there are some questionable actions on the part of the white people to call it fully Christian. When I was growing up, I was raised in a Christian home and went to Christian schools. I was taught that our country was a Christian country founded on Christianity. Now that I am an adult, I think the wool was pulled over some people’s eyes. Yes, Christians had a part in establishing this country, and there were many people who came to the “new” country to have freedom of religion. There were several that came to America to escape the prosecution of the Catholic Church. Hmm! Catholic is also classified as Christian religion. So I guess in a way, it depends on your definition of Christian. I define a nation that has God as their Lord just as I would an individual except that a nation is composed of many individuals. To have God as your Lord, you obey his commandments. You love him and seek his will first in everything. According to this definition, sadly America is turning their back on God, and people wonder why the country is in the condition it is in. To help point a country in the direction of making God their Lord, we have to begin within ourselves. Then we can pray for others and point others in the right direction.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Scripture writing - Hebrews 6:17-20 Scripture: 17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: 18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: 19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; 20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Observations: Verse 17- God was willing to show the heirs of the promise that his counsel is unchanging. He confirmed it with a promise. Verse 18- Because of this, he confirmed his words by 2 unchangeable things. It is impossible for God to lie. He gave us strong comfort to those of us who fled to him for refuge for the hope of his promise. Verse 19 - Jesus is our permanent anchor for our soul, sure and steadfast. Verse 20- Jesus is our high priest and has set a good example for us. Application: God's counsel is wise and unchanging. God is does not lie. God is as sure and steadfast as a permanent anchor. He gives stong comfort to those who come to him with hope in his promises. Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for your good counsel. I am so glad I can always take refuge in you. You not only give a little comfort, you give strong comfort to those who hope in your promises. Always let me trust in you. How much time and what kind of work? Do you believe in those time constraints that say, it takes 21 days, or 3 months, or a full year to form a new habit? I have always heard it takes about a month to form a habit. Of course, they say everything gets easier with time, but they don't specify how much time. My personal opinion is that it depends on the habit you are trying to form. Some are harder to stick with then others. Persistence is the key to forming new habits. You can’t just commit yourself to a short period of time. You have to stick with it for as long as it takes and set your mind to do so. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Prompt: I was cruising the galaxy with the Knight Rider car. Write about angels today. I believe in angels. That is the short version.😉 I really don't want to type out the long version, so I will see if I can end up somewhere in the middle. I have actually seen angels with my own eyes on more than one occasion. There are different types of angels and different ranks of angels. They each fulfill a specific purpose. Also, I want to point out that the Bible doesn't say we only have one Guardian Angel as popularly as it is believed. We have more then one. Psalms 91 says he will give his angels charge over there to keep there in all thy ways. Although, Psalm 34 says the angel of the Lord encamps around those that fear the Lord. These are all interesting thoughts. The study of angels is quite interesting. |
A new study has been posted today. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am a guest judge for this item. We only have 3 entries so far for the month of March. Please check out this contest and send me some more entries by the 31st. I like a real challenge! 😉 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Take UP Your Cross Prompt: Psalm 32:1-2 1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. How can we avoid having guile in our spirit? Answer: The dictionary describes guile as sly or cunning intelligence. So I believe what this Scripture is saying is that you are blessed when you don't have a deceitful heart. We avoid having guile in our spirit when we are honest with ourselves and others.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Scripture writing - Hebrews 6:13-16 Scripture: 13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, 14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. 15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. 16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife. Observations: Verse 13- There is nothing or anyone greater than God. Verse 14- God is promising Abraham blessing upon blessing and that he would have many descendants. Verse 15- Abraham patiently waited and ensured life until he received God's promise. Verse 16- when men swear on something, they tend to swear on what the esteem to be the greatest thing or entity. When men live patiently and peacefully, they will receive what was promised of God. Application: God keeps his promises. We will receive those promises when we live in peace with others and wait patiently for God to fulfill them. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for your good and precious promises and for the truth of your word. Help me to live peacefully and patiently wait on you. I know you are sovereign. There is none greater than you. In Jesus’s name I pray, Amen ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gratitude List 1. Naps 2. Coffee 3. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.” Elie Wiesel How does indifference affect you? Indifference to me is selfish and it is carelessness. It makes me angry to even think about it. I am an empath and I just don't see how anyone can be indifferent. I am passionate about things. Where is passion in indifference? Indifference is cruel in my opinion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Prompt: I was cruising the planet with Buck Rogers and found this planet: Northernwrites (349) Read this item:
Write something about this item in your Blog entry today. This item is informative. It is a good read for someone wanting to understand more about different forms of poetry and how to write them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Make-Up Scripture writing - Isaiah 43:1-7 For March 21, 2021 Scripture: 1 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. 3 For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. 4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. 5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; 6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; 7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. Observations: Verse 1- God created his people Israel. He claims them as his own. There is no reason to fear because they belong to him now. Verse 2- God is always with them. They don't have to fear floods or fire because God will protect them. Verse 3- God is Lord and Saviour. Verse 4- God will give the life of other people to save his own. He loves his people and honors them. They are precious to him in his sight. Verse 5- Again, there is no reason to fear when God is with you. Verse 6- He will gather his people from the ends of the earth. Verse 7- God has created everyone for his glory, especially those called by his name. Application: God has created his people. He is always with his people so there is no reason for them to fear. They are precious in his sight. He loves and honors them. He will go to the ends of the earth for them and will give the lives of other people and nations for them. His people belong to him. They always are under his protection. Prayer: Dear God, Protect me from the evil one and any evil plans the enemy may make towards me. Help me not to stumble and fall. Keep me securely established in you. Remind me every day how precious I am to you and how loved I am by you. Thank you for your love. In Jesus‘s mighty and holy name, Amen Jesus is my permanent anchor! ![]() |
