| I’ve expended quite a bit of energy today, swimming this morning and a four kilometres walk this afternoon with the dog. The weather seems to be calming down after the crazy windy wet weather of the last week. I was happy to see my stories, The Reunion, and Dimitriou, were selected as Editors Picks in the Drama and Comedy newsletters this week. So happy! It is our grandson’s 22nd birthday today. Jacob was told this morning he’d been accepted in to the Australian Army. He’s been waiting for a year to get into the course he wanted. He’ll be working on Helicopters, which is what he wanted. I’ve heard on the grapevine he is going to propose to his long time girlfriend tonight. It will be her 21 st birthday, the same day as Jacob. What a great day for them both 💕 |
