Just a good day today! A new puzzle, got my "7s" in for the day, Spanish Rice w/ meatballs and cheese for dinner. drinking lots of water...It feels good.


Welp, it's been a hot couple of days. Did pork chops with Mrs. Dash Garlic seasoning and some boiled potatoes. Not fancy, but it got eaten...LOL. So in the mood for some popsicles or a smoothie tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good night!

Have you tried to prove that "old saw" about frying an egg on the hood of a car or on the sidewalk, yet? I started elementary school in the Oklahoma Panhandle, so I know North Texas gets pretty hot in the summertime, too.

Of course, we've been dancing around 100F heat index in South Georgia, USA for the past few days. Maybe I should try that myself. *Wink*

I made (real) blueberry pancakes this week, now making blueberry waffles. Also going to work on manicotti, and some home made bread. We had pork medallions and a French Onion seasoned rice with corn bread muffins.

Getting my grove back a little. LOL. *Pot*

Trying to make it home in the rain right now, after a long weekend trip. My wife’s driving. I’m navigating. Had to take an exit to let the torrent die down.

Well, it's almost time for bed. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! And for those newly retired, enjoy another day off! LOL.
I've been on a baking spree this week. Chocolate zucchini bread, although it turned out more fudge-like that I expected. Also some wheat bread with a little raw honey rather than sugar. I also made some curry rice and pork chops the other day. Tomorrow will be garlic chicken wings and drumsticks with some boiled potatoes and California blend veggies (carrots/broccoli/cauliflower).

Howdy all! The weather has been crazy here. But at least we are not having the triple digit weather my daughter and son in law are having in southern Louisiana. The weather people are predicting a rough hurricane season...all I can say is...stay away, Jim Cantore!!! LOL *FacePalm*
alrighty then...just had a tornado pass through Lubbock...lots of hail hitting our windows. power flickered, and now we have rain and mud in our living room...Was black a few minutes ago, and now it is bright as day...now we have a flash flood warning now...ugh!!!
