I just finished the second draft of a kid's story I started years ago. I have a friend that is going to proof read it for me.

Today I went to the funeral service of a friend of mine. His passing has caused me to reflect on my life and where I am with the things I know I should be doing.
While my friend's life was full and not wasted, I want to make sure I have no regrets. I want to accomplish the things I am meant to do.
With that said, I plan to get serious about writing.
I pulled out a piece I wrote years ago and started editing it and plan to submit it.
