Yay! I found the Word document of the book I ghost-wrote on autism. *Laugh* I remembered how I wrote that book until I wanted to puke and I hated myself so much for accepting that job. Now that I reread it, albeit all the typos, I realised that it is really valuable. It consisted interviews of many specialists and all that. The book is no longer in the market. Maybe I will upload it here one day. I've never received that book nor have I ever seen the final edited copy. However, I'm just thankful that at least I got paid for the job though, yeah, I'm pretty sure I was underpaid. Still, better than nothing. *Laugh*

P/S: Apparently, a lot of writers are not willing to do it and quit. I was the only one stupid enough to finish that book. Well, at least I hope it helped people although not the people in Malaysia (Singapore).

Well, at least we know that some autistics have more than a "ghost of a chance" to get help with the way they experience life. Being neuro-divergent is a bit of a challenge at times, I can assure you. Whatever success I have in social settings has been learned in much the same way as I have learned math, science, and history.

"Ghost-writing." That is a funny expression. How do the keys on the keyboard press down? *Wink*
But you did it, and I'm damn proud of you. Like, really proud. *HeartG*

Hey, peeps. You joining?

Apparently, there are two versions: The weekly and monthly ones. I'm very tempted to join both. Tomorrow is officially one week so I really need to get started. I promise my first one will be very, very, very bad. *Laugh*

Update: Wait! I just read the rules. These are interconnected. *Laugh*

Good thing that being good isn't one of the requirements for the challenge! I'm attempting it too, although I already have no idea what I'll do for next week...
Anni Pon Author Icon - Yay! *Heart* That's okay. Let's just work on our first story. We'll figure out the rest when the time comes. *Laugh* I won't have time to touch this today. Maybe tomorrow...
Elycia Lee ☮ Happy 2025! Author Icon - Yeah, one week at a time. I just did my first entry: "Young LoveOpen in new Window.

Allan Charles Author Icon - Nah. Writing a poem helps me move on. I have no one to tell this to except to two other human beings.

Now, I'm gonna hop over and read yours.
This is beautifully written. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. It's not talked about very much, but it's a lot more common than people think. Which means you aren't alone! I hope writing this helped in some small way.
Anni Pon Author Icon - Hey there, Anni. Thank you for your kind words. It's very difficult to deal with and it has taken many years off my life. I'm very sad, but I don't want to dwell on it any longer because I am so sick of living like that. My friends all have children so I no longer connect with them as we are no longer in the same life path. It is a very lonely road, but indeed writing the poem helps a lot. After a good cry or two, I think I will be okay. *Smile*

Does kitchen work ever stop? I mean, you wake up, you get hungry, you grocery shop, create a mess when you prep and cook, eat your meal and by the time you clean up, you get hungry again and do this again. Three times a day everyday? Won't you get mad? How do you have time to do anything else?

Robert Waltz Author Icon - Please tell me this is not true. This can't be our purpose in life. *Sob*
Elycia Lee ☮ Happy 2025! Author Icon - I have no idea if it's true or not. I long ago gave up on wondering about purpose and meaning, in favor of just living. Sometimes, that includes living with dirty dishes and takeout food.
Lilli is QUILLING! Author Icon - Keep telling yourself that. *Laugh*
Hey there, peeps! If you have access to FB, this is the amazing fireworks display I saw last night at a close distance.

New Year 2025 Fireworks  Open in new Window.

I'm sure your fireworks display are more spectacular as ours usually only last for about five minutes.
Woo hoo! I watched a spectacular fireworks display and honestly, I still can't believe we are in 2025. Really? One of these days, we will transition more acceptably into the new year.

Do you? Ever?

Every night is a transition, every day on a continuum.
Happy New Year, “future friend.” I’m still living the last half day of 2024. Pray for us. There’s a strong cold period on the way in the U. S.

May the Lord keep us all safe in the new year.
Uh... where is the Recycling Bin? *Laugh* That is how long ago since I've deleted something from my port...

You can also find it at the top of your portfolio, roughly below your notebook tab. *Wink*
