My new poem: The Hypocrite I'm tired and I want to die. I'm angry. At myself. At my patents for having children. I want everyone to listen to others, listen to themselves, and think. Consider. Imagine. But I'm not the center of the universe. And neither are you. |
NaNotatoGo! - It's okay, hon, you can tell a lesbian friend you love 'em and they won't think you're making a pass I'm teasing you with a light heart, okay? You've become a dear friend to me, too. Oh, and the song you mentioned? It's an 80's song by The Smiths. I had no idea it had made it onto a TV show. (All of Morissey's lyrics were whiny and sad like that, and we ate it up.) Thank you for caring. I'm on a crazy rollercoaster. |
If you haven't begun/participated in enough writing activities yet this month–and be honest, it's Birthday Month so we keep partying 'til dawn, right?–we're only half way through September! I highly recommend to you:
There are several themes/prompts to choose from, but you can only write one entry per month. I'd already written for the second theme when I discovered I really want to write for the last one, too! You gotta know the themes are great for stimulating your muse into action–mine's is insisting I write the second one just for the fun of it, so I'm off to get busy with that. (Don't worry, GeminiGem🐾, I won't turn in a second entry. I'm happy with the MB I earned for the month. ) What're you still doing reading my rambling? Go check it out, yeah? |
Thank you, Angie! I liked the journaling prompt so well I participated in my own writing activity, LOL I am even considering making it a regular feature in my Witchful Thinking series. If you want to use any of the other prompts to write something, you are welcome to do so. I just need to be mindful of my MB budget |
