What do you call a turkey on the day after Thanksgiving? Lucky.

Wishing everyone a safe and lucky day.

What do you call a turkey on the day after Thanksgiving?

Gobbled.

*Bigsmile*
I'd call him Christmas dinner along with the ham! LOL
I wish you all a wonderful day. If you celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you're having a terrific one; if not, then I hope you're just having a wonderful Thursday.

Time to retire for the night, but before I go, I'd like to leave you all with a little ditty for Western Wednesday:

Since it's the day before Thanksgiving (for those who participate), I thought a thankful song would be nice. For those who don't celebrate Thanksgiving, have a terrific Thursday and enjoy the song:

Went to the local hospital (7 miles) for my last chemo infusion this morning at 7:30. It was spitting a little snow when we went in, but nothing was sticking. By noon, the snow was heavier, but still not sticking. By 1:45, I was done and headed home with a pump to infuse the last dose over twenty-four hours, then I'm done.

The roads were covered with sloppy slush, but still not bad for driving home. Now, the snow is coming down hard, visibility has dropped, and the traffic going by has slowed drastically. Oh, and multiple vehicles in the ditches (some Minnesotans forget how to drive in snow, and a lot more Minnesotans just don't remember how to drive anytime). I'm glad we missed having to be out in the worst of the storm, and by the time I go in tomorrow to get rid of the pump, the storm will have passed.

From tomorrow on, no more chemo, just a year of immunotherapy maintenance. Unless something changes when I switch to a different oncologist.

I just got started with my final chemo infusion; five hours here in the cancer center, then I get a portable unit to pump the last bag of poison over twenty four hours. Around one tomorrow afternoon, I will be done with chemo. I'll likely be hurting for at least a week, but then I can begin to heal some of the damage chemo has done.

Ah, the end is in sight! And that light you see in the tunnel is not an oncoming train either. It's the future! Congratulations!
Dear God thank you for this day and your healing power in Jesus' name, amen.

Sometimes I really get tired of people criticizing America. Please understand, I am an American, a patriot, and proud to have served! Maybe the term, "If you don't have anything nice to say..."

Richard 😀🎵 Author Icon - not appraisal, just another insult to Americans and their nation. This is almost a daily posting that if it's American, it's wrong.
America/Americans can have a bad press in other Countries (like here in the UK) Mainly I think because of what is portrayed in the media. I learn a lot from you guys on WDC because you are real people. There are good and bad people all over the World regardless of which Country you are from IMO....
Jellyfish Busyfish Author Icon - I agree, there are good and bad everywhere, and our countries all have their problems.
