Welcome to Writing.com Dan! I hope you find yourself at home here once things have settled from the holidays! This is a wonderful site to learn how to improve our writing whether we consider ourselves newbies or not and my suggestion to get reviews is to give reviews! The better quality reviews you give the better quality reviews you get in return.

It can feel slow going in the beginning but just like any other place getting your name out there giving to the community always gets you better returns in the end. After all as everyone says reviewing also helps us improve our own works, I have found this to be very true!
