Five-hundred-twenty-five-thousand...

Just kidding. If I was going to sing anything from the musical Rent, it would be What You Own, Rent, La Vie Boheme or even Out Tonight. But minutes, days and years are important to the human existence, so I thought that I would start this post with the start of the song. Now let's look at weeks.

52 weeks in a year. For many people, that is divided by 2 in order to get 26 for the number of paychecks. That is because many people get paid every 2 weeks. Not teachers, often they get paid once a month. I learned that when I worked at an elementary school for a few months. I don't have paychecks write not so it's not every week but the disability is once a month as well. I almost miss the regular, every 2 weeks pay day situation. Luckily for me, I get to take part in an activity that is a WDC version of the 2 week paycheck.

This is a fun activity created by my angel army buddy, Annette Author Icon *HeartV*. Everyone should check it out. This is going to be a fun year of staying active and getting to do new or different things on WDC. I can't wait to see what challenge comes next. *WDC2*

I've not seen a Paycheck in at least two decades. I mean to say, not a single one of Johnny's albums.
I have announced winners for my contest over at:

It is a different challenge. Very short story part and a recipe that can be food or even directions on a craft. I can use a little competition and the judge might enjoy seeing more entries. Give it a try!
There is still time to enter the second week for the dark romance in Quickie. Hoping to see some entries this month. Jeff Author Icon is judging the first two weeks. I will be judging the next two. *WitchHat*

Great prompt! Love the twist.
Working on an entry for a contest that the round ends tomorrow. It is romance or erotica and have someone else judging a couple of the rounds for October. Hope to see some entries soon.

I think I figured out what my villain is trying to do in the steampunk-ish story I've been working on for Lodestar.

He is a jilted federal agent turned criminal using riddles and tricks to distract law enforcement while kidnapping elemental fae to use their abilities to build his enterprise for a multi-planet takeover.
