Maintaining both my achievement streaks and my NaNo word count.
So, my cousin and her wife flew out earlier today for Florida. Since I didn't go to bed last night as early as I intended and got up early this morning so I could see them before they left, I am very tired. In spite of my tiredness, I still managed to do more than the daily goal for NaNo.
Today was a busy day, but enjoyable. My cousin and her wife came to visit from England. We spent the day together and tomorrow they fly to Florida to visit other family.
I feel like it's been a long week already. I've just got to finish out this week and get through next week and I'll have two weeks of vacation.

Still maintaining my streaks. I've even beat my previous Newsfeed one.

Edit: And I didn't post this to the Newsfeed fast enough, so it reset. And I'd been doing so well. Ugh.
Maintaining my streaks.
Ugh. I hate being sick. The head cold decided to invade Wednesday night, and it sucks. In spite of the cold, I am maintaining my streaks.
I'm doing well maintaining my achievement streaks for Reviewing, Forum, and Newsfeed posts. Still trying to decide on what I'm doing for NaNo this year.
Today was a long, extremely busy day at work. Sundays tend to be very busy anyway, but some are busier than others. My feet and legs hurt from all the running around. Looking forward to relaxing and knocking another movie of my "Movies I need to watch so I can at least say I've seen it" list. Tonight's movie is The Fifth Element.
I've done well decluttering while getting ready for the painters to come in on Friday. Of course, I've still got some things to sort through. I'll be happy once everything's said and done because then I can get my room set back up the way I like it. Then I won't feel so off-kilter and I can focus a bit better.

Just remember to open the windows before you toss stuff out (a reminder from a friend of a friend *Whistle*).
I kind of envy you. I wish I could have painters coming, along with a carpenter and one or two other tradesmen. This aftnoon, I started painting the front of my building. I wonder if your painters might come by here when they finish at your place. [kidding, of course. I'm pretty sure they'd want money. *Dollar*]
Write_Mikey_Write! Author Icon - That is a very good reminder.
Today's gone mostly well. We were supposed to have painters coming in to paint our apartment today, so we started taking stuff down off the walls and shelves in preparation, only to have the complex office sent my mum an email Monday saying the painters weren't able to come today. Instead, the painters will be coming a week from today to do it. Considering the date today, that may be a good thing. Luckily, the only bad luck we had today was getting stuck behind idiots who don't know how to drive.

Just remember the weakest part of any vehicle is the nut holding the steering wheel. (I know. It's been used before.) I always caution my family and friends to "Watch out for stupid drivers. You'll know which ones. They'll be the ones holding steering wheels --- most of the time."

Unfortunately, my day hasn't gone so well. I got my foot caught in the (10-foot long) charger cord for our alleged phone, and pulled it off of the bookcase! Thrice!!
Humble Poet PNG Author Icon - That is one of the truest things I've heard about stupid drivers. We've always said stupid drivers are the ones that sit at a green light waiting for it to turn a different shade of green.

And I'm sorry your phone cord decided to give you such a hard time. Darn those phone cords.
I've hit a 7-day streak for the consistency achievements. Let's see if I can keep this streak going and break my previous records.

Congratulations on your consistency achievement!!

Two months or so ago, I had a login streak of 50 days, then missed a day. I got back to 50 again, two days ago. My goal is to login and accomplish something (reading, posting to my port or to newsfeed or something) for 365 days.
Humble Poet PNG Author Icon - My longest streak (other than the visiting everyday streak) was 104-day reviewing streak.
Detective Author Icon - That's impressive! I have a difficult time getting on here for long enough at one sitting and often enough to write a review every day.
My reviewing, newsfeed and forum streaks got reset so I'm trying to maintain the new streaks.
I finally reached 400 reviews. I just need a hundred more to reach the 500 Reviews milestone. Whoo!
I was doing so good on the consistency achievements with the forum, newsfeed and reviews, but I got distracted and missed reviewing last night so it reset. I'm tempted to let the other two reset so I can start again with all three being even and hopefully break my previous streaks, but I'm still on enough of a roll with the forum and newsfeed posts that I wanna keep those two going.

Yeah, I missed a forum posting... so that reset, but the rest are still continuing on just fine.
s Author Icon - Yeah, I'll try and keep the other streaks going.
