Just spent an hour at the Gem Faire and spent $35. I almost spent $1,000 on an opal pendant, but fortunately I didn't have $1,000 in my account so the vendor asked me if he could use another card, which tipped me off.

It turned out all right, though, and I don't have to get yet another new card. But it could have been a disaster. STUPID!

Now I'm trying to figure out how to make the necklace I want to make with the beads and gems I bought. But that's the fun part.
