The sample for Behind the Vines is now up and highlighted on my portfolio!!!! *Castle*
My 5th book, Behind the Vines, will be available Aug. 7! Some of you may have sampled it way back in 2009/10! I'll have a few chapters posted soon!
To Nano or not to NaNo

All month I've been asking myself, do I want to NaNo this year? The answer is yes and no.

No because I just started editing last year's NaNo project, which is now over 170,000 words, that I have been lovingly calling the Nano Monster. I finished the first draft around the end of August and I had the hopes of getting the first round of editing done before NaNo month, but nope, I only got through the first five chapters before deciding to rewrite them, and that is what I've been working on.

So just tonight I've decided that last year's Nano Monster is going on vacation so I can NaNo this year! to give both it and myself a break from each other and get this other story, which has been gnawing away at my brain for most of the year, life...

What would a mother do to save her child? How far would she go if she was a vampire?
Been going through my files of old stories... A few I should just burn and forget.
That bad or that uninspiring or just too many to keep? What will you use for examples when you do an autobiography or someone does one on the struggles of that wonderful author *Smile* ?

WS
I wouldn't say bad, just messy. A few of the stories are just 3 or 4 chapters, others are outlines. (but I do remember where I wanted to go with them, just never did.) And they read like a 16 year old wrote them. (I havn't been sixteen for a long time).
I have just self-published, "A VOW OF TEARS", (formerly Reality). I've spent so much time away from my friends and family, I figured they (and I) should have a hard copy.
Updated the first chapter (only) of Reality. Let me know if I've learned anything.
Opened the folder up, #1763891 the story is Existence: Reality. The first book. (This is not the 2011 Nano.)
Been out of sorts for the last year. Life gets in the way of life sometimes. Hopefully completing my second NaNo story will bring me back. so far, so good.
Life is an never-ending interrupter. I often think it might make a good story but for all the tangents where readers would get lost. Be glad to read through anything and offer an opinion when you're ready though I'm so busy with selling and moving that it may be spotty. Hopefully, life will leave me alone in a couple months.
my life would not made a good story, too boring, busy but boring. I know that you had review the first 'book' before, if you're intersted to see the changes I'll have it open by tonight.
Thank you CountryGranny for the wonderful review! It was one of the best I've ever had!
