Maybe it sailed under the radar...
S 🤦 Author Icon - my chances of making that pun have been utterly torpedoed.
I have a list of the 100 Best Sci-Fi movies. At least the 100 best according to this website.

https://www.timeout.com/film/the-100-best-sci-fi-movies?utm_source=join1440&utm_...

I found this list to be a bit lacking, in my opinion. Then again, I'm no movie critic. The site justify's the list with this statement.

Science fiction isn’t just for nerds anymore. In truth, it never really was. The best sci-fi film does what any good movie should do, and that’s tell us something about ourselves and the world around us. The only difference is that it might invent an entirely different world to do so. Sure, there may also be some convoluted time-travel involved, or fantastical technology, or odd-looking creatures. In the end, though, the sci-fis that stick out are the ones that deal with themes and issues anyone can relate to, not just the geeks writing 4000-word theoretical treatises on fan forums.

To that end, in order to put together our list of the 100 best sci-fi movies ever made, we asked a wide-ranging panel of experts, from Nobel Prize-winning geneticist Sir Paul Nurse, to Oscar-decorated film director Guillermo del Toro, to Game of Thrones writer George RR Martin and Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker, along with a few regular old Time Out writers. As a result, it’s a list that crisscrosses the sci-fi universe, from Tatooine to Arrakis, Metropolis to Los Angeles circa, uh, 2019.

I shortened the list a lot by deleting all the extra text and photo's, but it's still too long to post it here. I checked the list, I've seen about half the movies on it. How many have you seen?

I've watched 39 out of that list. I'm surprised, I thought I'd seen less Sci-FI than that.
Seen 76 of them (that I remember). Mind you, some of these I cannot see how they are science fiction, despite the disclaimer. I also own copies of 43, and that includes the top 12.

I've seen twenty-five of them, if I counted correctly, but I've heard of most of them, even if I haven't watched them. Though, some of them are on my "to be watched" list.

I got excited the moment I read that you were featuring Mason Williams! I have always loved Classical Gas!
Thanks. I recognize the music, but had never known its title.
Well, WOW,,, there are three songs (videos) that I really love right now. I watch each one at least weekly. The first one I heard is:

1. Andy Kim - Rock Me Gently

2. Ed Sheeran/Andrea Bocelli - Perfect

3. Ruairidh Maclean 'RuMac' - Yes Sir I Can Boogie

Never fear though, I have watched other videos by each, and can tell that there are SEVEN videos by Ruairidh Maclean 'RuMac' that I will post in the future. That might put a scare in some of you though, so I'll be sure to place them a few months apart.
I added a new photo today. A whopping 2 GB USB Drive. See what you think.

Its amazing! Over 30 years ago, I helped take a 32MB drive off of a freight delivery truck and rolled it into the office where I was installing it. It measured about 3'x2'x2'.
At first glance, I thought, “Toy cell phone,” but I realized, “It’s a jump drive made to look like a cellphone.” They make them to look like anything these days.

Let me know, if you see one, that looks like coffee mug. That’d be about my speed. 😉
Or one that looks like a dragon. Sweet. Fish too.

How did we survive not knowing who was phoning?
I just realized that my daily entries in "Smile! (Groan?) You Know You Love These!Open in new Window. do not count as a Blog Entry, even though the item is listed as a Journal/Blog. I wonder why?

It has to be your blog that’s on the blog page, it can’t just be any book even if that’s the chosen format. It’s community activity thing so it focuses on your main blog only.
The StoryMaster Author Icon - I should have known that, or guessed that.
The StoryMaster - but when I reply to one of Sum1 Is Home's music posts, it counts for my daily blog entry thing for the 7-day streak...

Well shoot, I've misplaced a Walking Stick I purchased while on vacation, with no idea where it might be. I'll explain.

I bought this walking stick and had it in the van of course. When we got home I unloaded the van, but now I can't recall what I did with the Walking Stick. Yes, I've searched everywhere I can think of, everywhere I placed things in unloading the van. I've looked in places I don't recall putting things too. I've even looked in the van, just in case my memory is faulty. So why a Walking Stick? At times my left knee really bothers me. It aches like nothing I've felt before, a very sharp pain centered in the knee. I walk with a limp when that happens. So, a Walking Stick or Cane is necessary then. All I can say now is, I hope my knee doesn't bother me for a while.

Friendly Neighborhood Derg Author Icon - It's great that you returned it, but couldn't you have gotten someone to wipe it off first? How's Sum1 Is Home Author Icon supposed to grip it? *Shock*
Soldier_Mike Author Icon - Let's just be glad he didn't loose his slippers. *Laugh*
I’m sure it’ll be back when it’s finished with its walk or when you stop looking for it. That’s when I find misplaced things.

Sorry about that. I know that’s a pain.
