I have a question for anyone who has an answer! When it comes to metaphors... they are amazing and enrich stories. However, how do you use metaphors in high fantasy? Do you think it's appropriate to use descriptions that are considered everyday for our world, if they are not understood in the world you're creating? For example, "it surrounds him like a swarm of bees." What if bees do not exist in the world you've created? Thoughts? |

Hoping someone can help me. When i first joined i noticed an option to give a group 100,000 GPs in exchange for them reviewing an entire novel.
