| What do I do? The person I used to rent a room to has destroyed all bur 2 of my novels. I got the first in the series redone. It was in the trash, the nanowimo one, But the 2nd one, Pioneer dragon, my favorite, she took the last half off. I cannot remember all the stunts and tricks we put in it and my now ex husband/ never husband, will not return my calls and won't help me rewrite it. He has a phone that can pull up anything. I don't know what to do. |
| I've searched so hard and cannot find the 2nd half of my Pioneer Dragon. The ex roomer is threatening to sue me for suggesting she destroyed my novels, but she's already destroyed 4. |

| I think the 'roomer' deleted from every book I wrote. All of them are missing 20K at the end and on he lap tops they are gone. I'm so depressed. |
| LinnAnn, I am so sorry that your writing keeps getting lost. Why are you not saving it here on the site? Set everything to private. You can still see it, but it doesn't count as published. Posts like this one are becoming more frequent and it is heartbreaking to see. Please use this site to help save your writing. Back up everything that you still have today! And don't allow anyone to use your laptop. The roomer should go to a public library and use their internet for their personal things. Lock the laptop with a password and lock it up in your bedroom in a safe drawer. |
| It's 2:30 a.m. My son (55) came home from the bar he works at with about 10 friends.......How am I going to sleep with that many people outside my bedroom window? He did get me a newer picnic table. My husband at the time was tearing mine apart. I will try to go back to sleep. I will have a hard time staying awake at church. sigh |
