New to this site, just wanting to know if this would be a good place to find Beta readers? It would be for a futuristic horror story that I'm currently in the progress of writing.
If someone is interested, please let me know and we can work something out.
If you put something up for review, then the whole of WdC becomes potential Beta Readers. You could look at the bios of people, see who writes or prefers your genre and request a review of them.
Some people give detailed reviews, some quick thoughts, some will only review things they like, some will review whatever they can - there are so many people here who could read and act as a beta. But for a full-on Beta Read, then I would suggest asking for that in the "request a Review" section of the site. But it might mean some GPs from you to get people to be that in-depth.
Beta Reading is a tough gig to do properly. I'm looking for a new one; I've worn out 3! (Mind you, that is in 25 years...)
So, good luck, put your work out there and see what happens!
