Yeah, I've got promotion right after I stopped being a newbie. I was at the ship, woke up tired as hell in the morning when I logged onto WdC and saw I'm yellow. How exciting that moment was, I remember

. As for broken English, yeah, I still have it now and then but it's not so horrible like when I just joined the site. Sometimes I go over my old stuff and blush at my own writing but I just leave it like that without editing. I love nostalgia, I even have my first emails from the people I first started to communicate with here. It makes my heart full sometimes when I reread them.

Hi all!!

It's been a while, but as today is my 7th account birthday I thought I'd come and say hello.

It's great to see so many new and old members on WDC! Where does time go?

Many thanks to all who have taken the time to review my work over the past few years - your effort is much appreciated!

The passing of time has helped me to pick out mistakes in my work as I'm sure it does for us all. I'm now looking at conducting a complete overhaul of my portfolio and extending many of my shorter pieces as well as reviewing lots of great work here on WDC.

Here's to another 7 years, cheers everyone!

You know what? With everybody being so busy and all, I am going to make "Invalid Item"

a 6 monthly contest, starting from now... all entries from previous months will stand! The prizes will at least be doubled. I feel that makes more sense.

Ok, i've got a thing about madness at the moment. Who's mad and who isn't! Well just to clarify it... we are all mad that are members of WDC. That does not mean to say we are all loopy. I have posted in your guestbook regarding your style of writing. I still do not know my style, even though i have been writing for years and years

. What i would advise is that you don't get too involved with style, it will become apparent as you write. For instance, anyone that knows me will know that i wrote this message just by the style of writing.

I've noticed in my absence that the "Invalid Item"

has seen a decline in entries. This contest was originally set up to support "The Newbie Academy Review Contest CLOSED"
