Today's going to be interesting. Haven't written anything for NANO on my comp for more than two weeks now, but my phone was filled with chapters. Since I couldn't check my word count on my phone, I had to rely on estimates, which left me 15000 words shorter for the weekend. Nothing I couldn't fix. Time to get down to writing. I wrote the same amount (14696 words) on my first NaNo day, which happened to be a Saturday, with the same circumstances as for today. Wish good luck to me! And I've still got a Saturday (which could be spent on more important business, but I WILL complete NaNoWriMo. On the other hand, it seems like my novel would be better off as a trilogy as I've just passed the 35000 words mark and have yet to finish the exposition. |
It's still not too late to sponsor me! I've already written one fifth of my novel, I'm planning to reach 100k by the end of November.
Your GP will be well spent, since the beneficiaries are some of the most magnanimous groups and foundations on WDC. And of course, GO ORANGE TEAM! |
I'm currently looking for Write-A-Thon sponsors.
Please consider sponsoring me, it's for a good cause. I'm not planning to let anyone down. If I can keep up with my current pace of writing, I expect to pump out about 3000 words a day, which means a NaNoWriMo goal of 90000! That's almost a full-grown novel! In other news, I have finished the character gauntlet contest, you can look through my entries here (I warn you though, all entries are pretty rough first drafts):
To check on my NaNoPrep progress, you can see my preparations folder! I have already added an item that should give you a good insight on the novel I'm planning to write!
