My latest Short Story may not be suitable for WDC. I posted a post in ‘Non-Technical Support’ a few days ago, and I have only gotten one reply to it so far. This reply was helpful, but I’m still not sure about this Short Story. It’s not as bad as it sounds, but it still may not be suitable for WDC.

That’s one of the reasons why I have posted a ‘Shameless Plug Page’ and a ‘Please Review Page.’ There is still time this month to age it if I need to do this. Of course, in order to do this, I will need some feedback on it, with or without a review of it.

Recently, I stumbled upon "Content Rating Support" Open in new Window.. This might be helpful if you wanna ask about the rating. Not sure if that is what you were asking.

I gave the short story a quick glance and don't see why it's not suitable for WDC. Mmmm, I do have feedback, but I'm really busy today. Give me a day or two. I'll get back to you. Right now, I'm prioritising Anniversary Reviews first.

If the content gets a bit extreme for one reason or another, then there are the GC and XGC ratings to cater for it. If you are entering a contest, be sure to check that the contest doesn't have a maximum allowable rating for entries. There are some contests that specifically target the higher rating categories. There's also a Shameless Plug page specifically for high rating items.
First, I do not believe that WDC has any restrictions on topics or content as long as you properly rate the item. I read your story and think it is fine and acceptable. Your rating may actually be higher than necessary. However, these are just my opinions and not anything official.

If you are concerned about the Rating, I agree with Elycia Lee ☮ Sleepy that you can post in the "Content Rating Support" Open in new Window. forum with your question and a link to your story. Also here is the WDC official guidance on the WDC "Content Rating System (CRS)" Open in new Window. that should help answer your concern.

I just finished writing this short, Short Story. Usually, I would have waited until I finished writing my WDC Short Story for the month. but I only have a few days to write this one. So, I wrote it first. It wasn’t that hard to do. After all, the word limit was 240 for these short stories.

Usually, I write a Shameless Plug Page and a Please Review Page when I have written a Short Story this early in the month. But I won’t do it with this one because of the deadline limitations. A Continuation From My Primary Notebook


I just posted my latest blog entry for my "Only My Scriptwriting" blog. But I left out something I was going to add to it. Only I forgot to do it. I forgot to write that I lost my Daily Achievement Award status because of what happened to me yesterday.

Sorry to hear that... I've had a couple of very frustrating misses myself in the Daily Achievements department. I usually give myself a few minutes to lament the lost streak, maybe give myself a day or two off, then get right back to it again!

It’s good you wrote something out of your comfort zone. Westerns I find are difficult to write without making them sound corny. Good job.

I just updated my latest Short Story thanks to a Reviewer who noticed a couple of mistakes in grammar and spelling. but I also changed the start of the last part of it. It makes it more medical. At least that is what I think. What do you think?
