| Hello all, I've been lurking on-and-off for about a year now, since before November 2024, when I signed up as a free member. I was trying to "get a feel" for the website and some of the activity, and today I took the step to become a paid member, primarily to gain a few of the features of the basic plan. I have posted three items, one of which was for a contest, but I plan on posting more items as my limited time permits me to dedicate to the site. I am still very much a newbie on this site, and only just gathering my wits to write vignettes, short stories, and hopefully Novel(s) over these next few months (years? decades?) I have already had a little feedback that has encouraged me to become a paid member, as well as to try to dedicate some of my limited time to this community. I hope to have many, many years here, both on the site and in my life - I also hope for some of you to see me a published author - sometime in the not-too-distant future! Thank you to the staff for providing an amazing site and thank you to the community for providing an amazing experience for fledgling writers. This is my newbie Notebook introduction as suggested by the "Get Started With Your Account"  page. As you can see, I am learning to make links and to learn how things work at WDC.
