I have been dealing with some family drama as of late. My mother is suffering from the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. My little brother is moving out of state due to his deteriorating health. As for me, I am finding myself sleepy all the time. I have tests lined up to see if I need to be on O2 full time. I will know more by the end of June when all the tests have been run. My sister is having health issues as well but I have been asked not to speak of them. I will keep you all posted. |
I had sleep apnea, which caused me to fall asleep during the day. Went to the doctor about it after I almost fell asleep driving home from work one day. I had no idea of the problem. |

I have lost most of my hearing. Yesterday, I could hear clearly but today, I can barely hear at all. I am hoping it is temporary. |
I hope it's just temporary. I remember one time I had a bad head cold and I couldn't hear sounds I normally could. It lasted a few days and went away but it was super annoying. I'm not sure you're going through the same thing but whatever the case I hope your hearing comes back. |

I have decided what I will be doing for the next novel in the Tales of the Canterbury Nebula. 5 human children (who appeared in the first book) will be sharing their stories of their visit to the alien worlds and the galactic council. Each child will be picked up and dropped off for a cultural exchange. |
Quick question for everyone.... What would be the worst place for an alien, who knows very little about Earth, to crash a small space ship in... Australia, Europe, Asia, Middle East or Japan. This is for ideas on the second book in the series, Tales of the Canterbury Nebula, for next year's NaNoWriMo. |
I was going to suggest a place or two I know personally in the U.S., but after Steven's answer, I should think, that my places are more like a child's playroom by comparison. The best I have to offer is the Everglades in south Florida. Honestly, the transplanted pythons and boa constrictors are nothing to sneeze at, but they're still not the outback Australia. My hat is off to you, Sir Steven. |
