| Will this be believable? I'm working on a way to have my MC fake his death. He's on a Yacht with his wife, a couple of business partners. One of the business partners is a Dark Triad something scientific research has proven a lot of women are attracted to. (the bad boy) So while the wife is enthralled by a very handsome man the MC while retire for the evening. I'm basing the wife's reactions and responses on the research I've done and many many stories I have read involving infidelity. So she'll basically be lost passion with the Dark Triad and will not care about her husband. Everyone will be asleep or busy. In the dark of night while his wife is enjoying herself and her new man. And while the crew is busy on their duties and looking the other way. The MC will slip off the boat, wade in the water until a black Zodiack pulls up with his team. He'll be collected and they'll move on. Come morning the crew will notice he's missing, a search by authorities will be conducted. He'll be presumed dead. And the wife will be happy that her boring husband is gone so she can enjoy her new exciting flame with the comfy lifestyle her husband's life insurance policy provides. There will be no one concerned about the MC. That's my plan for his disappearance and why no one would continue to look for him even after the authorities have pronounced him dead or declared him dead. |
