I've just decided to make a minor permanent change to:
It doesn't matter if the constitution protects it or whatever. I don't have the legal resources to defend my iteractive and take someone to court anyway, so I am not worried about the law, I am worried about someone taking it on themselves to delete it when they know I have no recourse. But at least this way, I have the satisfaction of knowing if they delete my material, they were doing ti when it described something happening in a place where that something was absolutely legal. This has required minor edits in only a few places. I will continue checking the interactive looking for any items I might have missed. |

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm posting one addition to "Daddy's Girl" that I had half-written when I decided the fun wasn't there. I finished it up to see if I could get into it. We'll see if I can do more. No promises. Meanwhile in Looneyville, the election hasn't got any better, but I've already submitted my vote, so I'm trying to tune it all out until late evening on November 8th now. |
I'm just checking in to say I'm taking a break from my interective writing for a while. I've always focused on writing women as erotic objects more than people. I admit, it's a personal turn-on for me, but it has always been strictly a fetish, disconnected from my beliefs about men and women as human beings. Lately, certain things happening on the political front in my country have pretty much ruined this turn-on for me, and made writing it impossible. I don't like feeling like a traitor to half of humanity ever time I write, so I can't do it for now. I don't know if I am permanently retiring from this sort of erotica, but I am going to take some time to explore other ideas. |

Daddy's Girl has a minor change to the guidelines, allowing slighlty younger characters for fantasy/sci-fi only. |
I've been trying to work the women's view into my fiction as well, writing about the same stuff happening but consensually... but in the end, there are many posts that are, in the end, just disgusting if you think people were doing this for real.
I heard stuff about that guy in your country. Treating women as objects can never have a good outcome in real life. We're writing about alternate realities where politicians or "guys almighty" just "make it okay for women to be grabbed everywhere".
It really, really isn't. We should never take the fantasies we're writing here, as the way things should be. (That said, I don't have a problem with writing fiction about it.)
Yes, I can wholeheartedly understand you doing a break or even a full stop.
