Instead of that goofy NaNoWriMo I am doing something better, NaGa DeMon (National Game Design Month). I completely forgot it existed until a Facebook post this morning called my attention to it. This year I actually have a game to work on. I started it a couple weeks back but I figure, since I have not done a whole lot with it at this point, it wouldn't hurt and the November deadline would help keep me on task until it's a functional game with as few bumps as possible. For more info on NaGa DeMon check out ... https://nagademon.org/ |
Posted a new short story the other day. It came to me on a whim while I worked on a longer one about the same characters that's still in development. I think these stories may end up in a collection or might get turned into a novel length story. Not all that sure yet. If you read any of the stories about Song of the Shifting Red Sands and you like them please let me know if I should write more.

When the squid and I went to the Minnesota State Fair, we wore matching shirts that say, "Meese". What are your thoughts on this? |
Hiya Mr. Moose! Because you can totally do this... and I wanna see new writing from you - come join me in "Invalid Item" . |
Ugh! I suppose I have to cheer all you NaNo Preppers on again this year. "October Novel Prep Challenge" [13+] |
I love this graphic! https://cdn3.scmp.com/sites/default/files/2015/05/27/languages.png In light of the graphic I have some questions for you writers. Why do dwarves all speak the same language? Often they are from different communities that are so segregated that there is no reason for them to speak exactly the same language. Why do Klingons speak the same language? They are very spread out from planet to planet. There's no reason for them to not have different dialects, at least. |
I now know who writes the novels. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-BGRuiJIJeo8/VWfi_6GesZI/AAAAAAAAi34/1IlYq6dOa... |
