That's probably the first time that I've read about someone describing it like that. I'm painfully shy myself in social situations but I'm also a performer. When I took the Meyers-Briggs test it said that I was 99.9% introverted. That's why I tell people I'm working the hell out of my.1%!lol
I love getting up on stage and acting out my personas and dancing but I truly hate talking to people one on one. I've had to give speeches before and because I ran out of stuff to say I turned it into a Q&A to let people ask me ANY question that they would otherwise feel they couldn't ask. I've learned to be very good at improvising. After I do something like that I need to be in total solitude for a couple days to let go of the anxiety and stress that being in public causes.
Kudos to you for being able to find a way to work your nature!
