Thoughts do run through our minds, especially when we drive by a restaurant, bar, or retail store, or any number of places we spent time with that person.

Nighttime is the conductor of these thoughts- relishing in our one person beds...

"I'm afraid of things that are coming, they might change it all.." That's normal. It's also a trap to swim in the same relationship fish-bowl.

" I wanted more, than little treasures..." excellent metaphor. Relationships we savor can be also be nothing but morsels or appetizer's. I feel your intrinsic desire to hold y our true love.

"To coward to accept the time.." People pack their bags when they realize the ship is away from the harbor because they cannot just be with one person.

Thinking of what our past lovers are doing.. or not doing.. is also a trap.. but necessary to understand that the imagination goes both ways.

Review of Just Some Old Guy  Open in new Window.

Life spent is for nothing...

Humanity refurbished itself in the digital age of how many awards and references we have.

Self-worth is now a community vote.

As if we are living in junk yards, as rag-pickers shifting through broken toasters, phones, greasy newspapers, stained cups, ink-less pens, and matchless socks.

Oh, we pretend the measuring stick doesn't matter, but oh, it does.

Look around your junk pile and walk away from it.
