This is so relatable. I have 3 dogs and they're all like that. It really felt as if Maysie somehow got a hold of a laptop and typed in her story, you described her troubles with nice details and vividly. Also, love the ending. Any dog person in the world will read this wearing a smile looking over at his/her dog thinking "this is you right here, exactly like you". I know I did.
