This is a nicely written poem, and I enjoyed it greatly. Since my family has a history of depression and my favorite aunt and several of my friends have been diagnosed as being bipolar, I can definitely relate to this poem.
Interesting idea behind this poem; I like it. The only thing that I would really change about this is in the first paragraph where you say "little nagging thing". The word "thing" is such a vague term that it's not a really good choice to use in creative writing. I think it would help your piece if you picked a much more expressive term such as maybe the word "thought". I really did enjoy this piece. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely beautiful poem. It's so full of emotion, so full of pain and heartache that it makes me want to take you in my arms and hold you until the pain subsides. I hope that truly didn't happen to you. A friend of mine is going through the same thing right now, and it hurts me that all I can do as a friend is hold him and tell him that things will work out. I genuinly enjoyed this piece and like the way that it flows even as it sends the message that in this world so full of hate that there are still those who marry for life. It's sad that people need to be reminded of this, but I think your poem does a good job of that. Keep up the good work.
