i think what you are getting at is that in our advanced society, we like to think that the successful are freed from suffering, since everything is made easy for them, but really, inside, the successful are rotting because they never got to stand up for themselves and make their own decisions. They were shepherded through by overprotective mothers, private school teachers, and trust funds.

I like the sentiment of this piece, but it's hard to read because of the poor grammar and lack of revision.

Where did the crawling come from? it caught me by surprise.
