This doesn't really look like a poem, but I think it's really beautiful.
I think a good title would be "The Two Sides of Love".
What does "insert Lightening crackle and scary music.” mean?

This is very good. I like how you blend what is happening and his thoughts, which together combines into whatever Markus will do. The only thing that I don't understand in this story is if Markus dies in the end or not. ' "It" didn't ' is a very good ending, but it leaves with questions. It's very right you leave the reader with questions, in my opinion, but does Markus die or not? Just intrested.
