A heartbreaking story that was captivating and well written. You had a very interesting idea for a story--a father who takes the pain of his child is a notion I'm sure any parent wishes they could have. By the end of this piece, I was so deeply invested it brought tears to my eyes.
My only suggestion is to possibly edit the way the story was broken up. Transitions from one section to another seemed a bit choppy and the story would flow even more smoothly if those were smoothed out.
This is beautiful-both the words and the image. I wholeheartedly agree that wordcraft is witchcraft and that the magic lives within all people, regardless of if they know it or not. Thank you so very much for sharing this image and those words with the world.
