I love your optimistic view on the new year. I’m actually doing the opposite this year. I’ve never tried resolutions so I thought I would give it a go.

Your poem speaks to me in ways I can't explain. It's true, I also hide things, my family, they don't even know I publish my writing some of these free websites, they don't even know I write, not the amount I do. Even my name is a pseudonym so my family don't recognise it as me if they ever found it.
I hide myself so much because my family are realists, while I like to dream about things that will probably never come true or my family frown upon.
I like how you set the story out and the pictures you used. I've always loved the plots where the father doesn't approve and the daughter runs off to be with her loved one. I like yours because most of the time the father becomes excepting but in yours he doesn't and they just go and live somewhere where the father can't get them.
