The entire time that I was reading this I was thinking about the Notebook. It's one of my favorite films and makes me cry every time I watch it. In a time where more couples will divorce than keep their promises, it is a rare and beautiful thing to see vows cherished. 60 years of it.
This was absolutely hilarious. Your style is matter of fact and lively. The subject matter...I find that animals are some of the best characters that a writer can work with. I'm just imagining the chaos that scene must have been in- I'm laughing just thinking about it. I'll definately be looking around for more of your work.
