I really liked your poem. It gave me a glimpse of what it must be like to be a prisoner. I imagine that you are seeing the guards faces on the floor as they walk by your cell. You don't want to look up at them and make eye contact. You want the minimum of interaction possible. So you keep your eyes down and seetheir faces on the floor. I especially liked the third stanza. The fourth stanza didn't flow for me. I felt it jumped around alittle. But that's just me, I'm not educated in poetry or poetry writing or poetry critiquing, so I'm just tell ing you how I perceived it. Overall your poem created for me a reality and made me see it through your eyes. I really felt something and a glimpse of what it must be like. So I really liked your poem overall. Good job.
