Review of Tears For Two  Open in new Window.

Hah! This was an enjoyable read. I started to pick up on the satirical tone at "But it's not liked I killed them. Well, maybe one of them".

Great use of satire. I liked the use of short sentences. Puns, no matter how corny are always great in a humour piece.

Perhaps a quick dive into the eulogy could have been fun.

A great fun read

Review of Sounds Unseen  Open in new Window.

What a strong image this evokes! I like the juxtaposition of the hearing and not hearing. It helps build the image of the poem. It really feels like you captured a moment.
The last stanza is my favourite. The idea of senses searching out an interpreter is excellent.

Review of The Detached  Open in new Window.

Super cool prompt, and great use of those words!

The poem flows really well and has a heavy tone to it. It evokes feelings of sadness in me. I am not sure how I feel about the change in narrator 3/4 of the way through. It either makes me think the evil has become us, as the “they” has dissolved into “we” it challenges the reader to look at evils he/she may have committed. Or it’s a bit out of place because it’s just a short stanza in the poem. Maybe the evil is talking?

It is a intriguing read and creates great tone! Write on!
