I really liked the story. It was an entertaining read from beginning to end, with some neat subversions scattered throughout. Alongside the comedic interjections about words yet to be invented, it all makes for a fun tale. I’m glad I was offered the chance to read it, as it has shown me a new author whose works I’m gonna keep an eye out for in the future.

Review of It Begins  Open in new Window.

I feel that you've accurately captured the struggle so many creatives face whenever they sit down to write, that fleeting feeling we get whenever we start. Ask anyone who writes, and I'm sure they'll say the same, 'cause I've definitely had this happen to me.

The poem structure itself, though one of the simpler ones (in my limited experience with poetry, at least), is masterfully employed to present this story from beginning to end.

Never give up writing, I'm certain one day you'll get your name out there into the world.

Review of The note  Open in new Window.

I can only imagine the pain this poor soul is going through, to lose someone that they held so near and dear to them. I'm thankful that I haven't had to experience this kind of loss yet, but your short story lets me know that I'm not ready for it. I can't handle the idea of losing someone when I'm just thinking about it. And yet, though there is clear sorrow within it, I can't help but feel that there's a sense of hope on the other side, this light showing that things will get better. Perhaps not less painful, but more about coming to terms with the past and recognizing one's mistakes.

I hope for your sake this hasn't come from a place in your personal life, simply so you wouldn't have had a chance to experience this yourself, as well. If it has, I'm sorry for your loss.

A beautiful story all in all, and very emotionally moving.

Review of Forced into Being  Open in new Window.
Rated: E | (5.0)
I think this is a beautiful poem which neatly captures the details of life's deepest pitfalls, while showing that there is always a way up and out. From beginning to end, I felt a situation which I have gone through as well, and which I believe everybody has, but to hear it put so succinctly shows that even so, everyone's viewpoint is unique.

Though I can't personally attest to the quality of the structure myself, having no experience with poetry and how it's written, I'm certain it would rank up there among the top. Your masterful use of language shows you're clearly skilled in your craft, and I only hope one day I could write a poem like this one.
