I really like this poem! :) I especially like the challenging statements: "Do you see it? Do you feel it? Has He captured you?" Really makes me appreciate what Christ has done for me and the high price he paid so that I could become His bride...its so mind blowing.Thanks for sharing!
Wow. This is so honest and I the feelings that you must have had when you wrote this are reflected in every word. I'm so sorry that this happened to you :( I didn't come from the most peaceful home either..my dad often abused my mom and older sister, so I can relate a little bit to how you feel. I said a prayer for you when I read this and opened the Bible and came across this message:
"No longer will the sun be your light by day
Or the moon your light by night;
I the LORD will be your eternal light;
The light of my glory will shine on you.
Your days of grief will come to an end.
I the LORD will be your eternal light.
Isaiah 60:19-21
Just remember, that God isn't the reason for your sufffering; He is your comfort. Don't give up hope :) Keep writing and God Bless!
