I agree with everything you are saying. We've come a long way from the Jim Crow laws of 1950, etc. but it seems that the more laws the U.S. has, the more creative ways people find to be underhandedly discriminative. Most police men want what is best for the general citizen, but it's the cruel handful that will murder someone because of their race, and the cruel handful that end up on the news, sadly making the good police men seem horrible. However, it's about time that we stop judging someone based off of their skin color. It's so sad that they would shoot someone based off of their gender and ethnicity, but what is even more sad is that nobody cares until they fight back violently.
The utopia-like idea that America will one day judge everyone equally seems far fetched, but we need to start trying harder.
