A great little piece of hope you have written here. I like it, although its flow could be improved by choosing a few words differently. The message is clear though: Why keep your mind a prisoner of the cruel world into which we were thrust? Wasn't it meant to soar to places unimaginable, yet imagined all the same--to this place you have created for yourself and your son? I think Yes.
