This is a pretty good story. The act of getting worked up and then, whether by hook or by crook, not going through with it is a feeling of frustration that you have captured nicely. I really wanted him to go through with it...and I was irritated when he didn't through with it. In retrospect, I admire his prudent handling of the situation.
All in all, it's a good tale.
