I was drawn in like a deer to water from the first paragraph. Great imagination and descriptive writing. I want to keep reading, to know more about the Eternals and Drifters. I am hooked and hope this becomes a book. My only suggestion, and please...this is just a suggestion, try writing this in third person. I do not know if it would work, but I had a thought as I was reading. I thought the main character sounded a little too self assured and the fight seen felt awkward from her point of view. Overall, at this pace, I would have finished this book in a day.

While I understand the concept of this piece and find it insightful, it seems to have a flawed flow. I could almost see this re-written as poetry due to its content. The piece itself has well written imagery demanding a picture to emerge from one's mind. The decision to end with peace was wise as I was saddened by Samantha's journey, but strengthen by the main character’s ending. The piece got better towards the end as the writer seemed to get in the groove of the story. I could see this piece as the ending of a book as well. With character development it could be a well written novel. With some background on the characters I would understand why they ended up where they did. As it stands Samantha does not seem to deserve her fate simply because she was a negative person. Overall I like the vision of the piece.
