I love your poem. I like the way it rhymes and fits the guy perfectly. You did a very good job! Your comparisons are very well thought out & make perfect sense. The random question and answer is pretty funny. Maybe you could se better words and more details.
Your tenses seem to change a lot. You sound as if you have the desire to become a great journalist. It is really hard to put information out about yourself and what you plan to do because you don't want to be criticized, I give you kudos for that. My favorite part of this self -letter is that you're saying to keep your spirits high no matter what brings you down. Good work & keep writing- it will pay off.
