Honest sharing of someone in pain, or understanding of the pain a person battling themself goes through. I understand that pain & experience it more often than not, myself. I think it is strong of you to share. I understand the feeling of people judging something they do not know, or understand, or, chose not to.
I hope that you are okay & I hope that writing helps you to share & express the feelings inside yourself. Even if you don't share that writing publicly. I have written a bit on a piece called "Never Enough" & indirectly, this is the feelings I tried to share in that writing.
Interesting!! I don't think I would have thought of this & it's very interesting!
And actually, it has made me think of all the time that I have wasted, that I could have been actually DOING some writing & I have not. I wonder now though, do many writers go through a period like that? or do some people "just write"? Do you write a lot?

What a touching story about your friend! Losing a friend, especially in our teen years is very hard. I think that we all think as teenagers that we are "invincible" ... though, I don't really remember "Thinking" that, so much as "living" that ... I am sorry for the loss of your friend! I think that it is an emotional & important thing for you to have written it down & shared this with the writing community!

I also had a head injury - mine was in high school, at about 16 though & I have suffered from migraines, headaches, head pains, all head pain since :( At times its crippling & I have a migraine for weeks on end. I was on meds & I have given up finding anything that works :(
I found your writing very interesting. And, to be honest, it really made me think back to when I was younger - things I've done, time that has gone by. I hope you have written more, as I look forward to reading it!
